The Folklife Program, whether through grant funding, technical assistance, collaborative projects, or just shared common purpose, partners with many other organizations in the state. Variously through programming and presenting, field research and documentation, exhibiting and showcasing, these diverse institutions constitute a critical infrastructure for the sustainability of folklife, traditional, and ethnic cultural practices, and for the communities of practitioners, in Tennessee.
