Preparing for Your Collective Impact Experience
From Grace Robinson, Public Information and Research Coordinator —
The Collective Impact conference is just 12 days away, and we hope to see you all there. The office is buzzing with activity as the staff continues to prepare. Materials are being made available for you to also prepare to convene with peers—arts administrators, educators and artists.
Head on over to the conference page to see the fully updated agenda, as well as guest speakers, maps and lodging information. You can now also view the full program online. The deadline for reserving a hotel or dorm room from the held conference rooms has been extended through tomorrow, May 27. Be sure you book your room now, as it will be difficult to find availabilities next week.
You will also find information on the Wednesday Teaching Artist Workshop, and the first ever TN Arts Commission held Arts Education Policy Convening. Note that teachers attending the entire Conference may earn 2.2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
Another new offering on the horizon will be access to the conference program via the free Guidebook app. Using this platform, attendees will be able to access the full program, maps of the conference locations, presenter bios and more on your smartphone or tablet. There is even a special feature that allows you to select sessions to attend and build your own schedule. Be on the lookout at the conference for download instructions.
