In addition to ongoing exploratory fieldwork and grant related tasks, the Folklife Program periodically oversees special projects, often working closely with a particular constituent organization.

One such project, an online publication entitled Latino Arts and Traditions in East Tennessee, was produced by Knoxville Latino arts organization Hola Hola Latina, with oversight from Folklife Program Director Dana Everts-Boehm.

An online DVD entitled Diversity in the Arts is a model project featuring Nashville’s Global Education Center’s exemplary work on developing board diversity and culturally sensitive programming furthering education and tolerance through the arts.
